Professors Jon Johnson and Gary Warrick join us in today’s episode experts in the field of Huron-Wendat archeology, giving insight into the complexity of an archeological site: Parsons.
Today’s episode will discuss the physical history of Parsons and its place as a public history site. By discussing the indigenous history and archeology of the Parsons Site we highlight the shortcomings of Ontarian archeological practices of recent years. The artefacts of Parsons are largely missing, with little idea of where they may be.
